In 2012 I was asked to do a talk to the local Country Women’s Association group. This proved to be a great success and as a result I now give regular evening talks to local groups.

The talk is about how I became interested in mechanical organs and how I started by building ‘Swinging Sisters’ fair organ. I also talk briefly about each of the organs in the collection.

This is an illustrated talk with approximately 25-30 slides.

I usually take one of the busker organs along to demonstrate.

The talk usually lasts for about half an hour depending on audience participation and how many questions I get asked.

This is then followed by a sing-a-long when the audience are given percussion instruments to play and accompany the organ. Usually the music chosen is a selection of popular well known songs to suit all ages.

If you are interested in booking a talk please click on the enquiry button below and send me details of when the talk is and where. I will then contact you to discuss availability.
